All About My Family 

This week is all about our families! What is a family? What do families do together? How do families take care of one another? We read a lot of books about different types of families. We learned that families grow when they take care of each other and help each other; so, we took care of our class babies by giving them a bath. We pretended to be mommies, daddies, babies and even grandpas this week - both in our dramatic play area as well as on the playground.  We especially loved hiding in our school’s caves and running to hunt as a family of dinosaurs!   

For art, we finger painted family trees. We also got to see pictures of some classmates’ families -which will be displayed in our cozy corner soon! If we are missing your family picture, please email it to TinyToThe3s@gmail.com so we can add your family photo to our cozy-corner tree.
